Safecom operates application server platforms based on the Microsoft Windows operating systems, and BSD UNIX, Apache, J2EE, MySQL and PHP. This environment can support a wide range of Component Object Model (COM) and .NET based systems on windows based platforms and interactive PHP, Java and CGI solutions on BSD platforms. Safecom routinely maintains and manages custom applications developed specifically for our clients, applications based on the popular Microsoft Back Office suite as well as solutions based on open source technologies.

Our technical team is experienced in the configuration, operation and management of complex systems that require a combination of technologies in order to operate correctly. A typical solution may include any or all of the following: multiple Internet and network communication standards, relational databases, directory services, transaction engines, message queuing, and distributed transaction processing.

To achieve the very high levels of availability required in today's Internet application environments, Safecom uses sophisticated clustering, data synchronization and load balancing technology to ensure that our customers' systems are always operational.

Regular maintenance of servers, including the installation of Service Packs and "Hot Fixes" occurs as soon as they are available. This ensures that all customers operate in the safest environment possible and have access to the latest features and technologies.

To safeguard against the unintentional introduction of faults and vulnerabilities in our operational environment, Safecom's highly skilled team of technical staff independently verify all manufacturers updates in our test labs before they are applied to our client's servers.
