Having fast and reliable network and Internet connections is a critical part of any professional system. The Safecom network topology has been designed with this fact in mind.

Safecom maintains multiple high-speed links to a number of Australia's largest telecommunication service providers to ensure that in the unlikely event that one provider experiences a service failure traffic may be routed through a different provider. We currently provide Internet access through the following carriers:

• 100 Mbps Fast Ethernet
  (40 Mbps provision)

• Optus

• 45 Mbps PVC
  (via a 155Mb
  ATM Circuit)

• MCI Worldcom

• 100 Mbps Fast Ethernet
  (40 Mbps provision)

• Powertel

• 25 Mbps PVC
  (via a 155Mb
  ATM Circuit)

Safecom provides a bandwidth guarantee to all customers. It is our policy not to run any link over 65% capacity. Once a link reaches 60% capacity an upgrade will automatically be ordered to ensure all our customers receive low latency Internet access.
