OneDigital (APL Digital) previously provided the hosting service as part of the service portfolio they offered their Web development clients since 1996. The business unit was originally established as a joint initiative between APLD, Microsoft and Digital Equipment Corporation (now Hewlett Packard).

On taking over the hosting service Safecom significantly upgraded and expanded these facilities and now offers this service to all clients who seek to have their web sites or eCommerce applications hosted in a very secure, highly available but affordable environment. The Safecom team has been providing hosting solutions for over 6 years.
