History

OneDigital (neé APL Digital) is a global Internet Agency and a member of the MRM Group. Developing Internet business and marketing solutions for large Australian and global organisations, their industry leading developments create powerful online brands that enable their clients to thrive in the online arena.

Formed in 1995, we were Australia's first dedicated Internet Agency and the first to establish a specialist Internet strategy team. The company is still run by its founders, who have over seven years' experience developing Internet business strategies and solutions. OneDigital has completed hundreds of successful projects for clients from a diverse range of industries and markets.

Eight years ago OneDigital sought an Internet Service Provider (ISP) to provide their clients with a superior level of service. The search uncovered an amazing lack of ISPs providing 'high-end' hosting. Many sites were 'down' for extended periods, lacked accurate reporting data and provided no level of support or maintenance for customers. The market is highly price competitive, thus forcing ISPs to cut corners on hardware, services and bandwidth in order to gain an edge in the market.

For this reason, OneDigital bought their own servers and employed the necessary skill sets to provide this service to their clients. It is from this now significantly expanded service that Safecom operates today.

Safecom provides ongoing Internet services in three ways:

• Site Hosting
• Site Maintenance
• Value Added Services

Maintenance and hosting features are available to each client in a private area of their site on a Client Services Intranet. The Value Added Services are provided to all companies regardless of them being a hosting services client or not.
